Windows 10: PC randomly factory reset, no restore point found

Hello,Earlier my PC suddenly factory reset while I was using it, without any issues for months. I underwent the process and checked for some system restore points of which there were none. I haven't had any saved manually but usually there'd be some automatic ones right? At any rate those were all gone. Wondering if there's a way I can recover stuff, and prevent this from happening in the future.Things to note:-I have 2 external drives plugged in, but both seem to be intact. How to factory reset Windows 7 without a CD or factory restore point

I'm clearing out some old PCs that are running OEM Windows 7 licenses. However, I do not have the previous installation disks and there is not a factory restore point in the list of the system restores. When I go to try to reset windows in backups and restore it only lets me choose disk or restore point, no factory reset settings.

I'm just trying get a clean slate on the hard drive and fresh install with none of the info on it. Outside of upgrading the system to windows 10 which is more user friendly, I'm at a loss, and even then I'd be saddling a machine that can barely run Windows 10 with no chance to turn it back once I do a clean reset.

Does anyone know of a way to achieve this? Is there a setting or menu that is hidden?

 

Can't reset my pc to previous restore point.

I am unable to reset my pc to its factory settings . The reset option from update>recovery is not working also i think mu restore point is deleted from some kind of malware or virus. Also windows + R > boot is not working. Give me some suggestion s of reseting
