    PC randomly freezes alt+f4 and ctl+alt+del don't work, restart and power button do nothing.


    My PC had a random total freeze. I can't do anything when it occurs, Alt+F4 and Ctl+Alt+Del have no effect. I pressed the restart button on the case which resulted in a black screen that never changed. After waiting for a relatively long time for it to reboot, I pressed the power button on the case which did nothing. Next, I tried holding the power button on the case but the PC keeps running with a black screen never powering down. That is, the power button fails to power down and the restart button fails to reboot after the freeze. I ended up having to switch the main power supply off and on

    I can't add the CTRL-ALT-DEL screenshot unfortunately, but there is ONLY the Cancel button and the Ease Of Access in the right-hand bottom of the screen!

    A few problems concerning CTRL+ALT+DEL & ALT+F4.

    Yeah, but as a test, can't hurt to add that key with a value of 0, and see if uncorks something. Can always delete it.

    As you posted before, all these options seem to stem from what is defined for the Power Button to do, with in turn are entries in whatever power plan you have.

    Mine is balanced with normal PP entries.
