Windows 10: PC randomly freezes - LiveKernelEvent Code: 1a1

Hello,


I just build a new PC a couple weeks ago, and sometimes my PC will just freeze sometimes while browsing the web and sometimes by doing nothing.

Here are some infos : one time it crashed and I was still able to hear my music with iTunes.

Here is my build:

- CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X @ Stock

- Motherboard: ASUS ROG STRIX B550-E GAMING WiFi, latest stable BIOS

- Cooler: Corsair H100i Elite Capellix

- RAM: Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO 32GB 2x16GB 3600 MHz DOCP

- GPU: RTX 3070 FE @ Stock

- NVMe: AORUS Gen4 1TB

- HDD: Seagate Barracuda 4TB

- PSU: Corsair RM750x

- Case: Corsair 4000D Airflow

- Fans: Corsair ML120 RGB PRO


Everything is new and does seem to work great when the PC is not freezing


Here are more infos:

- All my drivers are up to date.

- No crashing

- Motherboard reporting code 40 getting out of hibernation even if my PC is booting normally, but that should not be an issue.

- Latest version of Windows

- I have quite a lot of USB devices connected maybe B500 limitations ?


Are are some supposition:

This could be the GPU, while like I said I could still hear music, but nothing was updating on the screen. But that would be weird as it's a brand new GPU and it works really great, low noise, etc. I have made 0 overclock.

PC freezes. Mouse and keyboard don't respond. Needed to force shutdown. Multiple Hardware Error LiveKernelEvent.

My PC has been freezing and crashing very often these past few weeks that the mouse and keyboard are not responding, forcing me to force shutdown by pressing the power button on the CPU to turn it off. Sometimes it freezes on the page/site I am currently
working on, sometimes the monitor turns all white or black. It freezes randomly - I'm not even playing a game.

I have checked the reliability history and I found 5 Hardware Problems

I don't know what info I need to include but here so please let me know if there's anything important I have missed:

Reliability Monitor:

There were 5 Critical Events labelled Hardware error. And several "Windows was not properly shut down) errors.

What causes LiveKernelEvent 1a1?

I've been getting this error whenever I start my computer. No issues when booting up but once I get in and check the report log it's there. It was accompanied by an unexpected shutdown (0a) one time but ever since it appears on its own. When the unexpected
shutdown error occurred it was when I turned the computer on and it instantly shut back down. Started it back up and it was completely normal.

PC freezes and crashes. LiveKernelEvent code 1a1 + BSOD

Hello Microsoft community.

I am in desperate need of help. I built a brand new machine about 2 months ago. I had some Problems with it, but was able to fix them myself. However, now there is a new problem: While using 3D applications, the PC freezes and restarts itself. This happens
at random intervals, and I am helpless in my attempts to pinpoint the issue.

The reliability Monitor spits out 2 errors when it happens:

Does anyone know why this happens? I already did checked my Disks and RAM, with no problems found. I also reinstalled my gpu driver, which didn't help. DISM didn't find any issues either.

I also have a dmp and a nfo file at hand if it could help to upload it. However I'm not sure where to upload it to since this is my first time i ask for help here.

I hope some of you guys know what to do, because god knows I don't.
