Windows 10: PC randomly freezes

    PC randomly freezes


    My computer has been randomly freezing for about a month. I've followed every YouTube guide and form I can find but nothing has worked. I have uninstalled and re installed new drivers, turned off overclocks, checked temps, ran diagnostic software, and recently did a clean install of Windows 10. This work for a week before it started to freeze every few days and since then its become more common happening 2-3 times a day.


    PC Specs:

    MSI Titanium GTX 1070 ti
    MSI PLUS AC Mini ITX AM4 Motherboard
    AMD Ryzen 7 2700x
    G.Skill - Trident Z RGB DDR4 16GB
    Seagate Barracuda 7200rpm 2TB
    Thermaltake Smart 500W 80+

    Windows 10 freezes randomly


    I had already tried turning off fast startup, to no avail.
    Will look at the list you provided, thanks. Hard to do when computer freezes on the Windows loading screen though. *Biggrin
    I had tried that as well... no result.

    To better assist you regarding Windows 10 which freezes randomly, please provide the following:

    • Which is the last Windows update build you've applied to the computer?
    • Are there any third party applications that are currently installed?
    Furthermore, we suggest that you do a BIOS update to your computer. Here are the steps:

    • Check the motherboard manufacturer's website to find the specific model of your motherboard.
    • Go to the computer manufacturer's website.
    • Look for the computer model that you're using.
    • You should find any available BIOS update.
