PC randomly shutting down under GPU load? Replacing to a higher wattage PSU doesn't help....

When I first asked about this, people said that it was my PSU before FSP Hydro Pro 550W, but I already replaced it to a newer one ASUS TUF 750W 80+ Bronze and the issue still persists. I ran Cinebench and it passed. I ran OCCT and it passed. However, when I try to use 3dmark, sometimes it shuts off, sometimes it doesn't. Whenever I play a game with demanding graphics or unoptimized performance, my PC shuts off with no error screens---as if I turned it off improperly. When it boots up, there is no error screen or warning screen. It boots up like normal. Also, CPU and GPU do not overheat whe

  2. Monitor Randomly Goes Black - Forced to shut down

judging by the list (in the sig) thats 1 up from the bottom of the list. But that doesnt mean its not adequate for that build, age will also take its toll on PSUs.

It was already suggested to try another PSU, try on with the same wattage or bigger

Can I connect GPU to this PSU?

    @Aggserp4
    I agree with Clintlgm,
that it would be in your best interest to upgrade the PSU.
PSU calculators are notorious for grossly overestimating wattage.
    With that said.
    Here is a basic configuration,
without a GPU included in the calculations.

Having wattage headroom is also something to consider.
I always go with 100-150 watts of headroom.
The system calculations shown above, may utilize 289 watts at full load.
The recommended PSU is a 400 watt unit.
This is a headroom of 111 watts.
This calculation also didn't include a GPU into it's calculation.
Adding another 150 watts, for an entry level GPU.
Would bring the recommended PSU up to a 550 watt unit.
It's always better to have more wattage then not enough.

BSOD before new GPU and PSU, more BSOD afterwards

(yes I asked chatGpt to make the post for me for fun!)

    Hello Microsoft Community,

I recently upgraded my GPU and PSU, hoping to improve my system's performance. However, I've been encountering a significant increase in Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) errors since the upgrade. Prior to formatting and installing the new GPU, I did experience some occasional BSODs, which I attributed to driver errors. Since I had planned to format my system anyway, I didn't investigate further at the time.
I also encounter a lot of frame rate drops, mostly while playing games but also during normal usage.

Here are the details of my current situation:

    1. New GPU: I purchased and installed an AMD 580x GPU.
    2. PSU Replacement: I replaced my old PSU, which was approximately 10 years old, with a new one.
    BSOD Error Codes I've encountered:

    1. MEMORY_MANAGEMENT
    2. IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
    3. PAGE_TEMPLATE_NOT_FOUND
    Troubleshooting Steps Taken:

    1. Memtest86: I ran Memtest86 from a USB drive, and it reported zero errors.
    2. System File Checker (SFC): I ran the "sfc /scannow" command, which detected and fixed some errors.
    3. DISM (Deployment Image Servicing and Management): I executed the "DISM /cleanup /restorehealth /cleanup-image" command to ensure the system image was in a good state.
    4. Chkdsk: I ran a disk check using the "chkdsk" command.
    5. Disk Repair and Defrag: I performed disk repair and defragmentation.
    6. Driver Updates: I updated all drivers using Windows Update, and I also downloaded and installed the latest AMD drivers for my GPU (AMD 580x).
Despite undertaking these troubleshooting steps, the BSODs persist with greater frequency than before. I'm reaching out to the community for any guidance or suggestions on how to resolve this issue.
