Windows 10: Pc reboots once when i shutdown.

Hi, my acer aspire a515-52g, since nearly a year i think, reboots once after i shutdown. I mean literally, i shutdown, it reboots once, i shutdown again and it turns off for good. Almost everytime i shutdown it happens. It doesn't reboot or shutdown in other occasions, no overheat problems, just this thing. I tried to run the troubleshooter, do the clean start and some other things that i read here in the forum but nothing seems to help.I searched in the event log and to me the problem is associated with the event 577 280 "The system has prepared for a system initiated reboot from Active" bu

My pc takes for ever to shut down when i restart

Suggest cleaning up your startup list .There may be many services / Apps you can remove on startup which is not needed on boot or during shutdown.
Before you shutdown the Pc check what is running in Task Manager as a program or service in not killing the process on shutdown

Would suggest cleaning up running apps and services -Autoruns, StartupMonitor,HighjackThis,
Malware Scan - Malwarebytes,ADWcleaner, Combofix

Once you are on the desktop, install any pending updates on the pc to check if that helps. Updates are additions to software that can help prevent or fix problems, improve how your computer works, or enhance your computing experience.

I suggest you to try running the Power Troubleshooter to check if it helps to resolve the issue.

Run the Power troubleshooter on the system.

Refer these steps:

• Press Windows key + X, select Control panel.
• Change the view by option on the top right to Large icons
• Click on troubleshooting and click on the view all option on the left panel
• Run the Power troubleshooter

PC is Suffering Unexpected Shutdowns

Most important detail to me would be whether these shutdowns are sudden, in which case it's likely a short or PSU issue (capacitor aging maybe?) or graceful windows style shutdowns, which suggests software interference.

It could also be overheating components if it's a sudden shutdown. What are your thermals like?
