    PC refuses to reset from recovery


    HiMy windows 10 PC started getting BSOD and won't let me past the login screen. The BSOD error messages seem to be different each time. I attempted to reset the PC from a recovery drive, but it gets 1 to 2% through this process before crashing out with a 'there was a problem resetting your PC, no changes were made' message. Have also tried uninstalling updates and recovering from a system image to no avail. Does anyone know anything else I can try?Thanks in advance

    Yes, need to clarify .... "reset" is a generic meaningless term.
    - Windows recovery ?
    - proprietary device recovery (factory default setting) ? (Absolutely NOT recommended if this was the case)
    - and/or Windows repair (often confused/interchanged with "recovery" ?

    How was this attempted (steps taken) ?

    Yes, you can reset the pc from windows 10 after updating I suggest you to refer the steps given below.


    • To go start.

    • Go to Settings.

    • Click on Update & security.

    • Click on Reset this PC.
