Windows 10: PC repeatedly crashing after update kb5054979

Hi. My Win11 PC keeps crashing. I've tried all the usual fixes, updating drivers/restoring system/RAM checks.The reliability history shows the crashing started after security update kb5054979. I've tried to uninstall this update but it won't uninstall and uninstalling though cmd gives error 0x800f0905. Increase the window size step by step and watch your vga temps permanently.
What happens?
If it crashes, run at stock speeds as suggested before and retry.

P.S.: When your system locks, does the display signal turn off after a time?
Stuttering sound or no sound at all when freezing?
What X1800XT model do you own exactly?

• What are the troubleshooting steps you have already tried?

I would suggest you to unplug all external devices connected to the pc and restart the pc to check if you are able to get to the desktop screen.


Ensure to plug in the power cord to the socket and check if you are able to get to the desktop screen.

After getting to the desktop screen, ensure to install any pending updates and also update all device drivers from Device Manager. Once this is done restart the computer to check the status.
