Windows 10: PC resolution messed up, system keeps crashing

i have a NVIDIA RTX 3070. i’ve gotten my pc repaired twice and my graphics card replaced on the second repair. i was playing minecraft earlier when my pc crashed. upon restarting, i noticed the booting screen was messed up green dots, distorted image and when my computer loaded, the resolution was huge. everything is correct in my resolution settings and i’ve disconnected and reconnected my monitor. i looked online and figured it could be an issue with my graphics driver, and saw there was an update. i updated it and the resolution was fixed for a split second before my pc crashed again. now

Help! New system keeps crashing

It's runing through them now. It's a step forward, as the problem was the system crashing as soon as I pressed the key to boot from the disk, it crashed before I even got to install it. When it's done, I'll burn another copy, see if that works.

 

Display resolution keeps changing

Hi Rick,

It might be caused by a faulty driver that's why your display resolution keeps changing. We
suggest that you uninstall and reinstall the display driver, see steps below:

• Press Windows key + X and click on
  Device Manager.
• For graphics cards, expand the Display adapters category, right click your graphics card and select Uninstall.
• Restart your PC and Windows will attempt to reinstall the driver.
