    Pc restarts/freezes on startup


    Okay so, I was working in unity when I left to get a drink and when I came back my pc was restarting, no body’s had touched it, it just restarted by itself. And then whenever my pc boots up onto the login screen it either 1:freezes and I have to restart the pc myself, or 2:restarts itself and keeps doing it. Can anyone help?

    My pc takes for ever to shut down when i restart

    Suggest cleaning up your startup list .There may be many services / Apps you can remove on startup which is not needed on boot or during shutdown.
    Before you shutdown the Pc check what is running in Task Manager as a program or service in not killing the process on shutdown

    Would suggest cleaning up running apps and services -Autoruns, StartupMonitor,HighjackThis,
    Malware Scan - Malwarebytes,ADWcleaner, Combofix

    • Aside from this error, are you also getting other error codes or messages?
    • Where do you usually experience this freezing issue? Is it during startup?
    • Other troubleshooting steps you've tried so far?
