Windows 10: PC restarts when Minimum Processor State is 5%

Hi,My pc started getting random restarts recently and then i found a article to reduce the Minimum Processor State to 5%. Then after diong that pc got into blue screen.and after restart it getting into blue screen after 3 mins.Then i restared to Safe Mode and chage the power plan to High performance which will set the Minimum Processor State to 100% . Then after changing to High performance mode pc started to working fine However im still getting ocassion restarts but not just after starting,My question is why the pc restarts when Minimum Processor State to 5%. . Is my processor getting bad?

What's the recommended minimum processor state?

The default is 5% which is the recommended value.

It makes no difference to gaming because the minimum state only comes into play when the processor is idling and not doing any real work. It will switch to the maximum state automatically when demand is placed upon the CPU.

Version 1607 is very old and is out of support. Is there a reason you have not updated?
