Windows 10: PC restarts when playing or just surfing

Hi,

I have experienced some problems with my PC after the Windows 10 Anniversary Update. When playing Dota 2 or GTA 5 or just surfing the net, it automatically restarts.

I have installed all the latest drivers and still got restarts once or twice a day. Today, I was surfing the net like Facebook, Emails and Youtube and after 4 hours, it restarted automatically.

I don't have temperature issues and my PSU is not defective. Please help and advise. Thank you.

Windows 10 gaming stutters. HELP!

1. Most are of my game if not all, which i haven't tested. Right now i am trying to fix this one game company of heroes 2.

2. No error message it's just started to stutter after 5 to 10 minutes of playing and later if i keep on playing its just crashes ( Computer does not respond and i have to restart my pc )

3. Some are on steam and some are on other websites.

Note: is my memory spiking up to 50 - 60% is a normal thing when playing games on windows 10?

when i'm just surfing the web the memory is usually around 20 - 30%.

Just Upgraded from windows 7 to windows 10 and now my pc is really heating up to the extent of even shutting down(hibernate). I am using a hp notebook pc. This mostly happens when am surfing and playing asphalt 8.

Thank you but there are some files missing from the zip.

If you could please do this:

• Open a new Windows Explorer window(windows key+e)
• Type this string into the address field and hit enter: "%systemroot%/minidump"(without quotes)
• If you find any files there please upload them here.
• If Windows says that the folder doesn't exist or if there are no files please tell us that.

Again, I played GTA 5 (with an AMD Catalyst drivers 15.11) for about 2 hours then I started to notice in the game menu that it has some stutters then it restarted again with this error.

I haven't had any issues with all of my games before the anniversary update.

Again, I have installed the latest driver from AMD 16.9.1 and played GTA 5 and it restarted after 30 minutes of game play. Please help.

Well it's going to be a problem getting to the bottom of this without any dump files, and I would like for you to check this tutorial to unsure that your Windows 10 is correctly configured when BSODs happen:

Hi Boris,

I have my setting generate a dump file ever since I had my pc.

I was wondering if this is a PSU related issue since I dont have any BSOD ever since I had restarts in my pc. My PSU is corsair VS650.
