Windows 10: pc restarts while only playing games

i recently beilt a new computer and my setup is ryzen 9 5900x, 32gb 3200mhz, ASUS ROG Strix B550-E Gaming AMD AM4, 1000watt silverstone psu, 2070 super. my pc resets when i am playing games like rust and rainbow 6 seige. the thermals are fine and the cpu and gpu only got up to 200 watts of power while running the games. i dont know if it is the power supply or not. i have gotten new drivers and everything. Before i had a i7 9700 and 2070 super 750 watts and everything worked fine. i reseated the cpu ram and gpu and it still didnt fix it. i saw something that said my pc is too high end and i need to limit the core for the games but i cant figure it out. my cpu and gpu dont even get to %100 while playing the games so i dont know if it is the power supply.


edit: i ran prime95 and furmark at the same time and they both got to 100% and it didnt crash. so it isnt the power supply.

• Does the issue persist only when playing games?
• Do you face similar issues when you play videos using a video player?

Method 1: I suggest you to run the Hardware and Devices troubleshooter by following the steps below and check if the issue is resolved.

• Type Troubleshooting in the search box next to
  Start button and select the top most search result.
• Click on View all from left side panel of the screen.
• Select Hardware and Devices, click on
  Advanced option and check Apply repairs automatically
  option.
• Follow the on screen instructions.

Method 2: If the issue persist, I suggest you to uninstall the graphics card driver from
device manager manually by following the steps from the link below and check if the issue is resolved.

• Press Windows key + X and click on Device Manager.
• Expand Display adapter option.
• Right click on the graphics card driver and select Uninstall option.
• Restart the computer to reinstall the driver automatically and check if the changes is effective.
