    Disk Usage at 100% with nothing running

    My PC is running Windows 10 with the latest updates but has suddenly become unusable with disk usage staying at 100% even with nothing running and just the same processes listed in Task Manager as before the problems
    started. I've tried a few suggestions found in online forums - disabling Windows Search and Superfetch, adjusting page file size, etc. but nothing has done the trick yet. I don't have any outside anti-virus software installed. I read about the potential MSI
    issue but don't have IDE ATA/ATAPI Controllers listed in the Device Manager. Finally, it seems to boot up normally and will have periods where the disk usage drops and it's usable but those moments are brief and it inevitably goes back up to 100% usage.

    My computer has been extremely slow for a while. The Disk usage is always at 100%. (It shows up as 50% in the task manager list while 100% in the graph). Is there any solution for how to fix and speed this up? I have tried to turn off windows search index
    and did the command "net.exe stop superfetch" but both did not have much of an effect. Any help on this issue would be greatly appreciated!

    Hello,

    I am having a new DELL laptop and I have upgraded to Win10 Pro. There was no issues for the last two weeks and suddenly my system is getting slow.

    The task manager is showing 100% disk usage most of the time Screenshot even though I'm not using any applications. I have tried disk check but it shows no errors.

    I have uninstalled recently installed programs and tried several possibilities but nothing helps. Can someone suggest a solution?

    My system spec is 4G RAM, 1TB HDD, Intel i3 4th gen. Any help will be appreciated.
