Windows 10: PC running windows 10 will not restart since update installed this morning

My Windows 10 PC was fine when I used it yesterday, but is sick today. It will not load a Windows desktop. It tries and then gives me a black screen with cursor and two of my three monitors.I have run diagnostics without much information and no solution. I chose to let the software, from the MS Media Creation Tool, reset the PC. I get the same results. It started to re-install Windows 10 but stopped and gave me a black screen again. I've disconnected all the external raid devices. The only thing connected to the PC currently is the keyboard, mouse, 3 monitors and the USB drive with the

Installing Windows 10 on New PC?

I'm going to be building a new PC on Christmas and want to install Windows 10 on it. I have Windows 10 on my current PC, which I installed upgrading from 8.1 with the files on a USB. How do I go about installing a clean copy of Windows 10 on this new PC? I think I recall something about installing it once makes Microsoft recognize your hardware, but since this will be a PC I'm not sure what steps I need to take. Do I need to go 8.1 -> 10 or is there a method of going directly to 10?

It's basically what I mentioned above, small issues here and there ,but nothing to end your day.. for the most part.

I know it's anecdotal, but for my experience 95% of the time it's perfectly fine. The issues I've run into wouldn't be enough for me to roll back , but they would be enough (had I not installed it yet) ,to avoid it for another couple weeks which is why I'm suggesting it to the OP
