How do I fix this problem. It happened only recently and I have never had a problem displaying via HDMI, but the screen will only be on pc screen only. When I click another one such as duplicate it goes back to pc screen. I have used many HDMI cords so I know the cord is not the problem.

    :)

Unable to project PC screen to TV

    Hi Saidy,

Thank you for visiting Microsoft Community.

I understand that you are not able to project the PC screen to TV. It would be great if you can answer these questions to assist you in a better way.

    1. What is the make and model of the PC and TV?
    2. What happens when you try to project to TV?
    3. Were you able to project the laptop screen to TV earlier?

Miracast is a wireless technology your PC can use to project your screen to TVs, projectors, and streaming media players that also support Miracast. You can use this to share what you’re doing on your
PC, present a slide show, or even play your favorite game on a larger screen.

I suggest you refer and follow the suggestions from

    Hope it helps.

    Project to this PC

    Hi Nishant,

I'm Sumit, here to answer your query at the Microsoft Community.

You will need to add Wireless Display feature.

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/scr...

Select Start > Settings > System > Projecting to this PC .

Under Add the “Wireless Display” optional feature to project to this PC, select Optional features.

Next to Add an optional feature, select View features, then enter “wireless display.”

Select the check box next to Wireless Display from the list of results, select Next, then select Install.

After “Wireless Display” is installed, select Back to manage your projecting preferences on the Projecting to this PC page in Settings.

On the PC you’re projecting to, launch the Wireless Display app by entering “wireless display” in the search box on the taskbar, and selecting Wireless Display in the list of results.

Note: The Wireless Display app is available on devices running Windows 11 version 22H2 and newer. If you're running an earlier version of Windows, launch the Connect app by entering "connect" in the search box on the taskbar, and selecting Connect in the list of results.

Hope that helps, and rely on us for any further inquiries. All the best.
