Been having random shutdowns during games for a while, been monitoring temps and it always looked good never anything drastic for overheating. Updated my driver's, bios, plugged it directly in the wall, disabled XMP, turned off pbo and a lot of other advice I've seen on here and nothing worked. There have been some weird instances which make me slightly doubt it's a hardware issue. I DDUed my AMD drivers

My new Vista computer sometimes unexpectedly shuts off. Any suggestions?

Don´t let people going on speculating.... list your specs and follow the suggestions in this tread, about the "Event Viewer".... and be sure you´ll get the help you need....

Otherwise you will just get more and more confused.*Bang Head :banghead:

    Event viewer

I suggest you re-install the video driver. I'll add a few words of explanation about Event viewer in a moment. They won't affect the need to reinstall that driver as your first step. Denis

PC shutdowns during gaming. Replaced PSU, don't know what to do. Nothing in event viewer,...

Lots of "Event 17 WHEA-Logger" in the events viewer leading to random shutdowns of pc

What we'r experiencing is some random shutdowns of the PC.

I was trying to look into the event viewer to check for any events before the shutting down happened but the event viewer is filled with this warning.

There are like 6 or 7 events each seconds.
