Windows 10: PC shuts down when display driver installation flicker happens

Hello everyone,I got my PC compartments cleaned yesterday, but after putting everything back normally, I wasn't able to boot normally. I tried swapping out RAM sticks to see if there was a malfunction, but no, there was not. I could boot into BIOS or safe mode, but not normally, as I know Windows should work.After 4 hours of continuous hassle, I decided to re-install Windows 10 Pro to see if there was something to do with Windows. I managed to boot into Windows normally, but when it started to update, my PC shut down again, and the same problem reappeared.This time, I ran Safe Mode and found

Display flickering in Windows 10

Do let us know if you have made any changes to the operating system prior to this issue?

This issue might have occurred due to corrupted/ incompatible/ outdated display drivers, try the below and check if it helps.

As updating the drivers couldn't resolve the issue, I suggest you to uninstall and re-install the display drivers in safe mode and check if it helps.

Step 1: Try to place the computer in Safe mode with Networking.

Step 2: Uninstall and update the display driver

Steps to uninstall the drivers for the Display Adapter.

• Press Windows key + X key when you are at desktop.
• Select Device Manager.
• Expand Display Adapter.
• Right click on the Display Adapter
  and click on Uninstall.
• Restart the computer.
• Do the same as above steps, right click on the
  Display Adapter and click on Update Driver Software.

Step 3: Place the computer in normal mode and check if the issue persists.

• Press Windows + R keys to open
  Run command.
• Type msconfig and press
  Enter.
• In the System Configuration window, click on
  General tab.
• Select Start-up selection as
  Normal startup, click on Apply
  and Ok.
• Follow onscreen instructions.

Windows 10 update Flashing desktop(Need Help!)

This issue can be caused by an incompatible app or display driver. Since you have uninstalled and installed the drivers but the issue persists, we suggest that you check to see if the Task Manager flickers to verify the cause of the issue. If it flickers,
a display driver is probably causing the issue and you need to update it. If it doesn't flicker, an incompatible app causes this.

To check if Task Manager flickers, follow the steps below:

• Right-click the Start button.
• Select Task Manager in the list.
• Check if it flickers.

Flickering screen at startup, crashes, and BSOD after instaling new GPU

When i put in the my old GPU it works just fine, but with the new one the screen flickers with the monitor, but i installed older versions of the driver and sometimes when i boot the screen works fine and sometimes it flickers. But now im gonna test if the PC will BSOD or the display drivers will crash. And ill report to you later. And also without any drivers with the generic windows vga drivers the screen doesn't flicker, maby it's the a faulty motherboard or the pcie slot since all the display crashes were TDR related meaning the GPU didn't respond and the display drivers shut down and then recovered. And also does it have to do something with my PSU not having a -5v rail?
