  2. Intel Core I7 4790(Non-K) reaching 60 to 70 Degrees Celsius on idle

Hello, I have an Intel Core I7 4790(Non-K) processor and it reached 100 Degrees Celsius on idle. So, at first the CPU fan was broken, I replaced it with a newer CPU fan and still I get 60 to 70 Degrees Celsius on idle. I will post a screenshot at the end:

    Thank you,

  3. Intel Core I7 4790(Non-K) reaching 60 to 70 Degrees Celsius on idle

    Hello,

Actually I am currently running at 1776 RPM and still the CPU maintains 60 to 70 Degrees Celsius. I researched on updating the BIOS already and my fear is that maybe the system may become unbootable if any corruption happens in middle.

    Thank you, Infinite Sciences

    PC Build Steps

1.1 - Ideally put optical in SATA 0, and SSD in SATA 1, this will cause the optical drive to be the default 1st boot option. You can change it manually if not, but I like it this way
    2.infinity - yes, that's fine. if it's above 70 +/- 5 degrees, then it may just need a repaste/remount
