Windows 10: PC Stuck at Boot Menu After Latest Windows 10 Update

After running the latest Windows 10 update this morning and attempting to restart, my Lenovo ideapad PC flashes past the Lenovo screen and is stuck at the Boot Menu. None of the Boot Menu commands are responsive including the ESC-Exit key. I've tried powering on and off but it returns to the same Booth Menu screen. I've also tried hitting F1 with no effect. What options do I have recovery here?

• What exactly do you mean by “my PC gets a THRED STUCK IN DRVICE DRIVER”?
• Are you getting any error message?

I suggest you to follow the below methods and check if it helps.

Method 1: I suggest you to follow below steps and check.

Step 1: I suggest you to install all the latest pending Windows updates as below and check if it helps.

• Go to “settings” and click on “update and security”.
• Under tab “Windows update”, click on the icon “check for updates”.
• Then once you find the pending updates install it and check.

Method 2: I suggest you to follow the steps from the below article and also run the “start menu troubleshooter”, check if it helps.

Win10: windows update stuck at never ending loop ?

When in win10:

• Update&security -> Windows update -> Finding update... .... .... ....

Planning to download the latest Win10.ISO (vers.1803) and manually update:
- Then wait that my ordered new SSD arrives and clone the old HDD to it.

 

Toshiba Laptop Stuck at Boot Menu

I understand the inconvenience you are facing with the laptop which is stuck at boot menu.

1. What is the model number of the laptop?
   
2. What is the error you have received when you try to boot the computer to desktop?
   

I suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below and let us know if that helps.

Method 1

Unplug all the external devices and then try to boot the computer to desktop.

Method 2

Unplug the AC adapter to your laptop. Remove the Battery. Hold power button for 30 seconds. Then leave it set for 15-20 plus minutes (Letting it sit longer won't really help to much) and then just plug back in ONLY AC adapter and see if it shows the
hard drive in the BIOS.

Method 3

Start your PC in safe mode

If the issue still persists I suggest you to refer the article Recovery options in Windows 10
for more information.

Note: This article includes Reset your PC and
