Windows 10: PC stuck in loading screen/bios uefi utility

Hello!Let me start by stating that i know absolutely nothing about computers. I bought my PC in 2017, and ive been using it since. 4 months ago i had to move because of my studies, and my pc had been working perfectly fine up until that point. No issues, no nothing. However, i got back recently and decided to try and start it up. The computer turns on, but it gets stuck in an endless loop of being in a loading screen —> ”please press delete/f2 to start bios uefi utility”—-> going into bios uefi utility by itself. I did restart it a couple times to no prevail. I restarted a couple of more

Let me start by stating that i know absolutely nothing about computers. I bought my PC in 2017, and ive been using it since. 4 months ago i had to move because of my studies, and my pc had been working perfectly fine up until that point. No issues, no nothing. However, i got back recently and decided to try and start it up. The computer turns on, but it gets stuck in an endless loop of being in a loading screen —> ”please press delete/f2 to start bios uefi utility”—-> going into bios uefi utility by itself. I did restart it a couple times to no prevail. I restarted a couple of more times and got into some new screens. This time, it was repairing itself and running diagnostics, checking for issues etc.

Then i got into a blue screen, where it said that the computer was not started correctly, and it gave me some options on what to do. I ran startup repair, nothing changed. Then i tried resetting my computer, but when i typed in my password, it said that the password was wrong (even though im 100000% sure it was right).

Anyways, after that i tried a new option, starting the pc in ”safe mode”. Again, once it restarted to get me into the ”safe mode”, it got stuck on the loop of loading screen —-> press del/f2 for bios—-> starting bios by itself. Thats where i am at now. I would appreciate any help, since ive been pulling out my hair over this, and the issue is extremely unexpected due to how good it was performing before i left. Fyi i have a very good antivirus aswell, never to my knowledge has my pc been infected. Thanks in advance for your help!

 

Stuck on UEFI BIOS Utility

Hi all - I have a Windows 10 PC running an ASUS Sabertooth X-99 motherboard. I left it exporting a large video file from Adobe Premiere Pro for a few days; when I got back, it was stuck on the UEFI BIOS Utility motherboard screen. I tried turning it off
and on a few times, to no avail. I'm able to move around the BIOS utility easily, but nothing seems to help. I have a ton of files that I need access to; I've been using a cloud backup service, but it's been sketchy at best. What can I do?

Enter UEFI Setup to enable CSM or Legacy BIOS.

Press "Del" when the ASUS logo appears on the screen to enter the BIOS. Press "Ctrl-Alt-Del" to restart the computer if the PC boots to Windows before loading the setup program.

If this fails then I would reinstall to avoid future problems. Follow the illustrated steps here for doing the best possible Clean Install which should get you past all difficulties as it has millions of others who have followed the steps in this link and never

To create Windows 10 Installation Media (if necessary on another PC) install the Media Creation Tool and follow the directions here:

http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-10/m.... Uncheck the box for Recommended Settings to choose the exact version and bit rate for the target PC only.

Insert media, boot it by powering up PC while pressing the BIOS Boot Menu Key here:

If the media won't boot you may need to enter BIOS/UEFI Setup (pressing key given in chart in link above) to turn off Fast Boot or Fast Startup first.

Choose the boot device as a UEFI device if offered, skip the Product Key screen and choose your licensed version only if offered. On second screen choose Install Now, then Custom Install, then at the drive selection screen delete all partitions down to Unallocated
Space to get it cleanest, click Next to let it create needed partitions and start install - this makes it foolproof.

If you have files that aren't backed up you can use the same bootable media to try to rescue your files using this method:
