Windows 10: Pc stuck in sleep mode but I never put it in sleep mode

Hi all. I encountered this a couple of months ago and we changed c drive as that seemed to be causing issue and then it was fine. I have not used sleep mode since then but I went to start up this morning and it’s somehow in it and I can’t get it out. The fans run as usual but monitor doesn’t start and no access to anything. Power button does nothing so I have to unplug the pc. If I plug back in and start up, it’s in the same position and still can’t do anything. Please help…

Is it safe to put your pc in sleep mode?

My pc goes to sleep after about 1 hour of idle time. Is it safe to put the pc in sleep mode?

Won't it decrease the lifetime of the gpu, cpu, etc. If they are turned off and on straight-away?

Not everyone downloads at night, or has anything going on for that matter so sleep mode is fine for the most part, for most cosumers. Most people turn their PC off at night anyway... and don'y even know there is a "sleep mode"
