Windows 10: PC Suddenly froze and rebooted

Hello.My PC randomly froze up and rebooted itself without showing a BSOD, in which I'm sure it has one but didn't just pop out on screen. It happened when I was gaming. Hi,

Windows 10 may have encountered a system conflict that caused this issue. Since you can't access anything after it got stuck to 75%, we suggest that you perform a startup repair. Kindly follow the steps below on how to perform this troubleshooting step:

• Boot to Advanced Startup Options from a hard reboot. Press and hold the power button on your PC until it powers off and until it powers on.
• Repeat steps 1 and 2 above until you see the Windows logo screen or Please wait
  during boot. Usually it may take repeating up to 3 times.
• Select See advanced repair options.
• Under Advanced Startup Options, select
  Troubleshoot.
• Select Advanced options. Under Advanced options, select
  Startup Repair.
• If prompted, select an administrator account to provide credentials for approval, type in the password and click
  Continue.
• Startup Repair will now start Diagnosing your PC, and attempt to automatically repair it.

Please allow a couple of minutes or hours to diagnose your PC by the startup repair.

PC suddenly froze and SSD is no longer recognisable

I was working on some project and suddenly the PC froze (mouse worked perfectly but every program i clicked on turned to "Not responding"). After reboot, the BIOS booted other OS from my HDD, later I found out that BIOS couldn't see the SSD (Sandisk Plus 120GB). When it's connected to motherboard, the POST message shows a bit longer than usually (about 10 seconds longer).

I've tried using different SATA cables, different SATA ports, two other USB adapters and none of them could recognise this SSD. I read something about power cycle and connected it only to power cable for half an hour and repeated this two times, but nothing happened.

I still have warranty for this SSD (it worked for just 2 years...), but I don't want to lose all the data that was there.
Does anyone know how to recover at least some of the files from this drive?

 

Windows 10 install froze while rebooting

Hi

While installing Windows 10 from Windows 7 the following incurred:

• While rebooting it froze during the spinning dial, I waited 20 min then did a hard boot.
• Froze again at the same spot, I waited 2 min then did a hard reboot
• Might have frozen a third time, I can't remember
• On the next reboot, Windows reverted back to the old version. (Phew)
• Now when I hit the "Ok, lets continue" button on the Windows 10 upgrade app. I get the spinning wheel and the "Working on it" text but after a few seconds the app shuts down and nothing else happens.
  

Are there some files/folders that I need to delete from the previous attempt?
