Windows 10: Pc take two hours to start or shut down, any solutions.?

After Windows 10 update, PC con't start

Good news, pc is back and running.
zBook was on the right track in that the BIOS was corrupted. However, the solution suggested did not work.
Fortunately, after considerable digging, I found some information on the Gigabyte site. Following their suggestions, I was able to restore the primary BIOS from the backup BIOS. The whole process took less than 10 minutes.
Basically, I had to:

1. Shut off the computer. Unplug all connections to the motherboard except the VGA/DVI output and the keyboard.
2. Press the POWER button and HOLD it. The computer will start and then shutdown. After the shutdown, release the POWER button.
3. Press and release the POWER button. The BIOS will go into recovery mode. A BIOS recovery screen will appear and you need only to select from the options that are presented.

This was a simple solution and I am now up and running.

Is watercooling the solution?

A loop can get complicated and so you start small and list what you want to cool at the very minimum. If you can do that I can give you a diagram and suggested parts.

 

PC does not shut down requires forece shut down

I have tried the suggestions in your email and Option 1 made no difference.

Option 2 appears to shut down the PC and it does not attempt to restart and when I boot up again it works as it should. However if I then shutdown using the Power menu the PC always tries to start again during the early hours of the next day. Currently I
am shutting down using the command prompt.

Does this mean that this is the solution to my problem or can the shutdown procedure be altered to work as required by the Command "shutdown -s -f"?
