Windows 10: PC takes 2 or so minutes starting up from hibernate want to repair UG

PC takes 2 or so minutes starting up from hibernate. been trying to do an in place repair upgrade, using a bootable W10 usb pen, running SETUP.exe. previous attempts failed, then after reading about some reasons it fails i redirected my download folder to the original location....tried again bit got yhe following, is this new ? never seen this message before, do i just have to wait for updates to catchup ???

Wake up from sleep taking 1 - 2 minutes


When I open the lid on my laptop the lights all come on but then it takes 1 - 2 minutes for the desktop to appear.
Just a black screen. I have it set to sleep when the lid closes. I did a factory install recovery and then put on Windows 10.

I have checked all the drivers and they are up to date. Have tried changing it to Hibernate and it does the same thing.
Ran the HP program to check for updates and everything is up to date there also.

With windows 7 it would take like 2 - 3 seconds to display.

PC is HP Pavillion dv7

Any suggestions?

 

Boot from Hibernate takes 20+ minutes


Since fixing my Hanging at Verifying DMI Pool Data issue, I've noticed that if I hibernate my PC instead of shutting down, it takes around 20+ minutes for it to restart. The circle of dots moves very, very slowly.

While starting from hibernate, if I press the reset button, the computer starts quickly - the dots spin and the usual speed.

So, anyone any idea what is going on with Hibernate? Why does it take so long to start up and what is happening in the background while the circle of dots are very, very slowly spinning?

One possible reason why your system keeps hibernating or goes to sleep is because of the power plan settings of your computer. To assist you with your concern regarding your PC hibernating, we recommend that you reconfigure the power plan settings by following
the steps below:

• Type Display on Cortana's search field and press
  Enter.
• Select Power & sleep.
• Under the Sleep option, click the drop down menu to set the number of minutes/hours you would like your PC to sleep/hibernate. We suggest that you select
  Never if you do not want you system to hibernate.
• Close all windows for the changes to take effect.
