Windows 10: Pc turn on light on everything in pc no mb light but no display no light on keyboard and mouse.

I look up everything. I try resetting bios many time remount the ram multiple times as well as the gpu.My psu is doing fine. It still the same problem. I don't know what to do next. Also the cable of my hdmi is fine and try starting without the keyboard and mouse plug in check every cable in my pc no loose even change cmos battery.The problem happened before and i did take it to the pc shop for diagnosis but when they check the pc boot just fine. Back home it did happen again but i reset cmos and it boot but this time it didn't.

Lights on when PC is turned off

Hi,

I have a mouse and keyboard that have RGB lights. When I turn off my computer the lights stay on the keyboard and mouse (this happens when they are connected to the back of the computer, straight into the motherboard....

So I tried plugging them into the top front of the pc and the color lights don't come on.


Does this mean there's a problem with my motherboard?.

Lights on when PC is turned off

Some motherboards have a BIOS option to supply 5V power to the USB ports for device charging when the PC is off. Check your BIOS to see if there is a setting you can turn off. Note there is always a 5V power supply to the motherboard from the PSU when the PC is off but the PSU is switched on and connected to the mains. I always turn off my PC at the mains switch or PSU switch when not in use (fire risk you know).

 

Wireless Keyboard & Mouse lights not lighting up.

I have a strange problem.

A few months ago, I bought a new [ eBay ] Logitech MK270 Wireless Mouse and Keyboard Combo for my Desktop. Previously they were BOTH wired. I inserted the USB Dongle and swithched the Keyboard and Mouse on. Everything worked perfectly and BOTH the Keyboard and Mouse lights were on.

At the weekend, I tidied up all the cables etc. I turned the Desktop on, and EVERYTHING worked perfectly, except the lights on the Keyboard and Mouse were NOT lit, although they BOTH worked perfectly.

The only thing I changed was to use a different USB Port for the USB Dongle.

I went into the Device Manager and deleted ALL other entries for the Keyboard and Mouse, as shown below, BUT, still the lights do NOT light up.





It is NOT a big problem as I always remember to swith them BOTH off, but I would be interested to find out why this has happened. Surely it can't just be because I changed the USB Dongle Port !

I have already tried a Restart, Shutdows & Restart, and put new batteries in BOTH the Keyboard and Mouse.

As I said, they are BOTH working perfectly except for the lights NOT being lit.
