Windows 10: PC turns on with a "incorrect PIN" message.

when i turn on my windows 11 pc it's a laptop if that matters, as soon as i get the screen where i am supposed to enter the PIN to login, i see 3-4 characters already entered i cant see the actual characters becasue it's those round dark dots u see when u enter passwords and then suddenly i see a message that says "incorrect PIN".And I havent even touched the keyboard, just turned on the power so far. Then I enter the correct PIN myself and it logs me in successfully. But this isn't what should happen It has'nt been long since this started happening.I would appreciate any help/suggestion

"You have entered an incorrect pin several times" message when I turn on the PC

Hi,

Quite often, when I start my PC, at the login screen I get the message "you have entered an incorrect pin several times", which is of course not the case, since I just turned on the machine.

At that point, I have to type A1B2C3 to unlock the prompt and enter my pin.

Is there a way to fix this?

Incorrect pin message, but without writing it

Hi all,

I'm experiencing this kind of problem: every time I turn on my PC, after a while it displays a message saying that I wrote an incorrect pin too many times and I have to insert A1B2C3 code, and then the right pin. The problem is that, as I mention in the
subject, it doesn't even give me the chance to write it before displaying such a message.

Can anyone help me fixing this problem?

Log-in Pin is incorrect after Anniversary update


I had the same issue after my update on Windows 10. I knew that my pin hadn't changed but it was saying it was incorrect. So I said that I forgot my pin and it started going through the steps to reset the pin entered my regular password and when the window popped up to set a new pin I said cancel and then I chose the option to set my pin later. I exited the screen, logged off logged back in, and set up a new pin which happened to be the same pin I had before and it worked. If this still doesn't work I can show step by step screen shots if you need. I have a surface 3 with Windows 10 fully updated 10.0.14393.0
