Windows 10: PC Unable to boot, turns on and off repeatedly after a windows update resulting in BSOD

Had just completed the windows update that was available and attempted to login after restart. PC started but I immediately got BSOD after signing in to windows. Stop code was Page fault in nonpaged area usbaudio.sysWhen attempting to restart the PC I found that the device was now unable to boot. The PC will turn on when power button is pressed but will turn off again after a few seconds. The PC then attempts to turn itself back on only to cut out again. This repeated until I turned off the PSU switch. At this stage I am unsure if the issues are related as all the support articles I was able

ughhh! BSOD on boot

I guess my computer BSOD on boot right before getting to windows. not sure what the problem is though, everything is stable.

It gave me a list of two files in windows that could have caused the problems

To assist you better help us with the information below.

• Have you made any recent software/hardware changes to the computer?
• Do you get any error message or code when trying to boot into the computer?

When installing updates it puts message “Do not shut down your machine”, if you unplug the AC adapter or turn off the computer Chances are:

• Windows resuming the installation process next time you shutdown.
• A non-vital program file becomes corrupted and causes some feature of the OS to become unusable and crash.

As an initial step I would suggest you to unplug all external devices if connected and then try to boot the computer by plugging in the AC adapter and check if you are able to boot the computer.

If the computer boots make sure all the updates are installed and then you can login to user Interface.

If you still not able to unable to get the in Windows Bootable environment I Would suggest you contact your manufacturer.

To turn off windows updates in windows 7 follow these steps:

Click the start button, in the search box type in 'windows updates', click on 'windows update'
in the search results list, in the left side of the windows update window click 'change settings'
then in the option bar select 'Never check for updates'.
