Windows 10: PC unexpectedly restarts/loses power

Hi there,I've been having this issue now for over a year, where my PC unexpectedly restarts or loses power. It's as if the PC loses power and automatically restarts itself. 1/4 times it always restarts, but every 4th time or so it will fail to restart and just hold a black screen all lights inside PC are on, so it is powered; when it does this, I am forced to turn it off/on from the power button. On one occasion recently, it started scanning for errors before successfully launching back up.This happens typically 3 or 4 days in a row, once or twice a night, and then it won't happen again fo

The kernel power event ID 41 error occurs when the computer is shut down, or it restarts unexpectedly. When a computer that is running Windows starts, a check is performed to determine whether the computer was shut down cleanly. If the computer was not shut
down cleanly, a Kernel Power Event 41 message is generated.



Try this, see if it works for you:

• Go to "Settings"
• Select "System"
• Select "Power and Sleep"
• Select "Additional Power Settings"
• Select "Choose what the power buttons do"
• Select "Change settings currently available"
• Ensure that "Turn on fast start up" is deselected (unticked)
• Click on "Save Changes"

Restart your computer after performing the steps.

is enabled, an error message might not be displayed despite an error taking place. Disable this option to allow the computer to display the error message.
Follow these steps to disable the Automatically restart option:

  In Windows, search for and open View advanced system settings.

  Click Settings in the Startup and Recovery section.
  
• Remove the check mark next to Automatically restart under System Failure, then click OK.
• Restart the computer.

Step 2: Checking for failed hardware.

Hardware problems can cause the computer to restart unexpectedly.

Kernel power 41 63 Windows 10

The Kernel-Power error (ID 41) can occur when the PC is shut down or restarted unexpectedly and can be caused by the system that loses power unexpectedly.

I suggest you try to disable the fast startup.

Follow the instructions here

- Right-click the Start button.

- Click Search.

- Type Control Panel and press Enter.

- Click on Power Options.

- Click on Choose what the power buttons do.

- Click on Change settings that are currently unavailable.

- Remove the check next to Turn on fast startup.

- Save changes.

Then I suggest you try removing 3rd party antivirus and update BIOS
