Windows 10: PC was updating but monitor couldn't connect. Decided to restart, wallpaper gone, and AMD...

All of a sudden the monitor randomly disconnected in the middle of an update. I figured after 40 minutes it was done, so I rebooted it.

Logging back in my wallpaper was black and I got a message saying "No adl load, xwz". Everything else worked fine. A minute later the screen started to blink and the "adl" message disappeared. The monitor blinked a few times before I had enough and just shut it down.

How badly did I fuck up? What exactly can I do to fix this? It was 2 AM when this happened so if you need anymore details please tell me cause I'm tired as hell.

Lumia 650, we couldn´t connect to the update service

Hi,

Have a lumia 650 with Version 1511, OS build 10.0.10586.494 is this the latest version?

When i check for updates i get this: we couldn´t connect to the update service, we`ll try again later..

I have internet connection via WiFi and a microsoft account set up.

 

Things to do once connected new G-Sync monitor

I'm getting my G-Sync monitor today.

I think I have to take the following steps:

• Connect 1440p G-sync monitor with DP cable
• Connect second 1080p 60Hz monitor by HDMI
• Startup PC
• Reinstall display driver
• Restart PC (I always do that after display driver install)
• Activate G-Sync in NV control panel (I believe also V-Sync is auto on after that?)
• Set my 1440p monitor from 1080p to 1440p
• Calibrate my 1440p monitor

Also ingame, I should turn off V-Sync?
Are there any problems running a second 60Hz 1080p monitor?

Is there anything else I should do/know?

 

(4K DP, 1440p DP, 1200p DVI-D) Triple monitor setup; 2 monitors have the same background when background is set to slideshow shuffle

My setup:

• CPU: Intel Core i7-3770
• GPU: AMD Radeon HD 7870 GHz Edition, fully updated drivers
• OS: Windows 10 Pro v1803, fully patched

Steps to reproduce:

1. Connect the monitors as in the title
2. Set wallpaper background to shuffle in Windows Settings

What happens:

2 of the monitors (always adjacent to each other) have the same background.

What should happen:

All 3 monitors should have different backgrounds.

Anyone ever seen this before? Any ideas?
