Windows 10: PC Wifi speeds just half of other devices on network

Hi,The Wifi speed of my PC is just half that of other devices on the network.My PC has R7608 Wi-fi 6E 80MHzI have tried the Network troubleshooting steps, including reinstalling drivers and restarting the networking adapter.The PC manufacturer support team tried to fix the problem via remote access but were unsuccessful. Would the next step be to order a new WiFi card, or are there any other steps I should take?Thanks!Neil

I get half internet speed on my new PC


Right click your wireless icon on the task bar, click open network and sharing center. Click on your wifi connection to open the wifi status window. What speed are you connected at?

What is the exact Model No. of your Dell PC - that will be printed on a Sticker on the bottom casing of your PC

Open Device Manager (accessible by right clicking your Start Button)

Expand the Network Adapters Section

what no Thats not how it works Yes there is some added latency when a G device talks with a N device but its not gonna drop the whole network to G speeds thats absurd where did you ever hear that bit of mis-information
in our house there is the following
1. ps3 ( wifi G)
2(PS4 wifi N)
3. BD player (wifi N)
4. 2 WIFI G cell phones
5. 3 WIF N cell phones
and a myriad of over devices
all can negotiate there own rate as well as archived the throughput for said negotiated rate
Op needs a better router D-link are just plain garbage ( crappy Ubicom chipset)
