Hello, I am having a very interesting issue. I just built a new PC...Gigabyte AORUS Elite AX Z690, Samsung 980 Pro Gen 4 NvME, Core i7 12700K, Nvidia Quadro K1200 w/4 monitors...and installed Windows 11. Everything is working great except when I reboot my machine, it will not come back up. All monitors stay off and the PC is in a state of low power mode or something. The only way to get it to boot is to unplug all 4 monitors and then plug only 1 into the onboard graphics connector and the do a hard power down by holding power button in till it turns off and then power back on. Once I get

  2. PC's with only onboard graphics are capable to run Windows 10?

Well, from my pc that I had installed windows 10 and it didn't support onboard graphics, I dismounted the hard drive and installed it on a pc with onboard graphics AND pcie gpu. And it worked fine! Note that in the BIOS settings the onboard gpu is always
activated but the monitor is connected to the pcie gpu. But when I transfer the hard drive back to my pc without onboard graphics, the same thing. No Signal. And the drivers for my gpu is installed. Can someone explain me what is happening with windows 10?

    my pc:

    Intel Core i3 2120

Asus P8 H61R2 (Yep, it hasn't got onboard gpu)

AMD Radeon R9 290 (MSI Gaming Edition 4GB)

    10GB Ram

    500+500 GB Seagate HDD

Windows 10 not recognizing second monitor plugged in Onboard Graphics

I would suggest checking your UEFI settings.sometimes there is an option named iGPU - multi monitor or similar, under chipset settings so that when you have a PCIe GPU the onboard graphics get disabled.

1)Check UEFI settings, try making onboard as primary

2)Check iGPU and discrete are working properly ( through device manager)

3)I wouldn't reccomend any VGA - HDMI adapters since analog to digital and reverse usually doesn't work very well ( in my experience at least)

  4. PC will not start after restart until I unplug all monitors and use the onboard graphics...

Why is everything so big if the monitor gets unplugged?

I haven't tried any of these suggestions, but the monitor coming unplugged happens when the computer is off. I walk past the computer a lot and there's really not a good way, if I step on the duct tape, to prevent the monitor from coming unplugged.
