Windows 10: PC Windows 11 - Xbox Game Install Options

I recently got a new M.2 driver D:\, and planned to put all my games in, incl Xbox games from my XGP.Unfortunately, relocating Xbox games into my new D:\ will create several mandatory files Windowsapps / WpSystem in D:\ for Xbox to run well. To make my D:\ tidy, I decided just to set off and move all the old Xbox games back to my old driver and left my D:\ irrelevant to Xbox stuff.Now the problem comes: Even if I reselected the Game install options under the Xbox Settings to my old driver, whenever I open/use the Xbox app, it will automatically recreate the location where Xbox games used to

Greetings, Xbox Insiders! We’ve just launched a new pair of idea drives and are looking for your participation and input to help Team Xbox. If this is your first time hearing about Xbox Ideas, then you should know that Idea Drives are focused on a specific area and contain three different phases (Collection, Voting and Results). From fight sticks to racing wheels, network adapters to headsets, there is a wide variety of accessories available for the Xbox One and Windows 10 devices, but is there something that you think is missing? Some peripheral that you think would make your gaming experience that much better? Here’s your chance to contribute and let Team Xbox know what’s missing, what you would like to see, and perhaps even a brand or manufacturer you’d like to see partner with Team Xbox on creating licensed hardware.

PC Game Bar

Do you like to record your gameplay on Windows 10 and share it with your friends? How about creating highlight reels or compilation videos? What kind of features would you like easy access to while playing a game? Team Xbox is looking for your contributions on how you would like to use Game Bar in Windows 10 right before, during, and after finishing a gaming session.

Take some time to explore the current Game Bar by pressing Win + G while playing a game on PC, then swing by the Idea Drive with your thoughts and feedback. A few examples of existing user ideas include:

Xbox PC App on Windows 11 does not let me select a different drive for game installs

Hi Nate. I'm Greg, 10 years awarded Windows MVP, specializing in Installation, Performance, Troubleshooting and Activation, here to help you.

1) Please post a screenshot of Disk Management, which I read like a doctor reads X-rays. Follow the steps here so I can see everything needed to advise you: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/foru...

2) Try the fixes for Windows 11 Xbox app can't select drive to install games:

New Xbox App Updates for Insiders We’re always working on new updates and features to make Xbox a great place for gaming, and this month we have several great things for our Insiders to start testing. Starting with a conversation I had with Partner Director of Experiences Jason Beaumont on updates you can test right now as an Xbox Insider: New features you can check out right now:

Rolling out now, the Xbox app will help you predict how well a game will run on your PC. You can see the performance prediction for Game Pass games in the detail section for each game.

With access to your game folders, more games are now moddable

There is even more to try! If you’re not already an Xbox Insider, here is how you can join now:

Launch the Xbox app and click on the Xbox Insider icon at the top to launch the Xbox Insider Hub.

Go to Previews, then select Windows Gaming and Join.
