Windows 10: PC with windows 11 cant recognize my samsung SE20

hi, i found previous comment i have same problem, but there are no answer for this guy:I have been trying to connect my Samsung S20 to Windows for days now and have NOT been able to. I have tried every suggestion imaginable but to no avail. I started off with on Windows 10 that came installed in my system when I purchased it a few years ago. My S20 used to be able to communicate with my PC but lately, EVERYTHING, EVER SUGGESTION, EVERY SO CALLED RESOLVE that I have been researching here on the web has FAILED MISERABLY and the frustration came in when Every suggestion stated that I needed an

:)

 

My Samsung Buds will not connect to my PC now it's updated to Windows 11.

Okay, it turns out I can hear on them - youtube etc, but they are not connecting with meeting apps (which is what I use them for) so they won't work with either Google Meet, Teams or Zoom.

They work fine with these on my phone - Samsung SE20 and my Kindle, but not my PC, so defo a windows 11 issue.

I've followed the steps and nothing has worked.

I've sent on Feedback hub but not exactly helpful for work!

 

Zune / PC not recognizing Samsung Focus after Mango update

You may have a driver issue .

Have you tried using a different USB port and another USB cable?

I would suggest that you to try out the solutions found here if you are getting a connection error:

Did you look in device manager and is your phone recognized?

You can check to see if the device has a driver issue by going to Device Manager and looking under

Portable devices - your Windows Phone device should be listed if it is listed as unidentified device, remove it and search for new hardware. It should find the device and if the drivers don't install try running the Zune desktop client which may
help install the drivers.

Have you tried installing the driver manually?

There is a KB here: Xbox Support ,here are step by steps to manually install the driver:

• Open the Zune software
• Go into to Device Manager.
• Right click the Unknown Device - your Samsung Focus.
• Click Update Driver
• Click Browse my computer for driver software
• Click Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer
• Click Next
• Click Microsoft in the left column list
• Click Windows Phone 7 in the right column list
• Finish the wizard. The Zune software should now recognize your device

PC does not recognize Samsung Focus as Zune device

I am running Windows Ultimate 64 bit (fully updated) and it does not appear to recognize my Samsung Focus as a Zune device when the phone is attached via the USB cable that came with the phone. The PC reports that a SGHi917 is attached as a portable media
player and does not launch the Zune software. Howerver, if I launch Zune software manually, it then does recognize that I have attached a Windows 7 Phone.



The latest version of Zune software is installed, the latest updates to Windows 7 have been installed, the drivers are reported to be the latest versions.



Any suggestions as to what I need to do to make the PC software recognize the Samsung Focus properly?
