Windows 10: PC won’t boot - asking to restart and select boot and press any key

Hi there, Switched my pc on today and I’m getting an error message of Reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device and press any key I have restarted and selected bios and it’s recognising my data drive, I have selected optimised settings and again nothing just keep going back to this message. Any suggestions please? Thank you

Hi having trouble, seeing a black screen that says Reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key.




I believe this is a Windows 10 volume 5 problem

How To Fix

If you get a screen with options saying WINDOWS 10 VOLUME 2/ VOLUME 5

- PRESS VOLUME 5

you computer should bring you top your home desktop

 

MY PC has just statred to restart even during Boot and after boot, Please help.

Pc restarts during does not allow installation too.

PC Won't Boot After Install and Restart

I was able to clear CMOS by taking out the battery and then putting it in after 5 min. That helped and i was able to boot, i got some kind of a checksum error and was given a choice to restore to last known good configuration or to default, i chose option number 1 and was able to boot into Windows, however after i restarted the PC i was back to square 1 where system wouldn't boot as before.

What do i do now? Clear CMOS again and attempt to boot into Windows do a system restore and uninstall that program that may have been the cause of this problem? Any suggestions?
