Windows 10: PC won't boot at all from restarting during update installation

I was doing some work on my PC, until I noticed that it started slowing down horribly from being updated. I tried going into the Settings tab and stopping/pausing the update from there, but the update tab won't even load for me. I hit restart on my PC and now it won't boot. All attempts by automatic repair would load for a bit then crash into a BSOD, with DRIVER_PNP_WATCHDOG as the error message. Otherwise, outside of automatic repair, my PC would be stuck on the logo with no loading dots. Please help me on this, been wasting a good hour because of Windows 10's stupid updates

PC Won't Boot After Install and Restart

I was able to clear CMOS by taking out the battery and then putting it in after 5 min. That helped and i was able to boot, i got some kind of a checksum error and was given a choice to restore to last known good configuration or to default, i chose option number 1 and was able to boot into Windows, however after i restarted the PC i was back to square 1 where system wouldn't boot as before.

What do i do now? Clear CMOS again and attempt to boot into Windows do a system restore and uninstall that program that may have been the cause of this problem? Any suggestions?

 

Windows updates won't install!

I had the same problem when i repaired my O/S, i forgot the steps on how to fixed it, but it is in the microsoft support forum.

You have to reinstall the windows updater, then restart the updating service.
