Windows 10: PC Won't Boot of Another Machine's Harddrive

I have set up a new build for family and they want it to look just like their old machine from the user interface side/programs installed. I have set up the new build and downloaded a different SSD with Windows to make sure everything is working fine and all is working as advertised. Then I try swapping out the hard drive. This method worked with other machines but for this one when I tell the machine to boot from that drive, it boots to a blank black screen or a black screen with a cursor on the top left as if it'd let me type. What am I doing wrong? The MB is an ASRock B650M Pro RS running a

Old Harddrive, New Computer, Won't boot

I'm trying to boot my new computer with old hardrive, the reason i need the old harddrive is because it has a liscensed software they is unique to that harddrive. Thus i need the harddrive.

Everytime i try to boot from that hard drive, it restarts the computer and gives a beep. I've tried booting in safe mode too and no luck. I put another clean harddrive in and installed windows 7 on it, then put the other hard drive in and can see all the files and the harddrive works, i just can't boot its operating system.

What should i do?

when i put a usb on my n97 it won t charge when i put on the computer it won t say nokia pc suite or else it not reading the usb cannot work on my phone plz hel

 

PC keeps booting to IDE instead of RAID

It might not be listed as harddrive. ie it shows devices to boot from, and one of the devices is harddrive, another option defines the order of the harddrives. The RAID controller might be listed as seperate device.
Of course this is different per board.
