Windows 10: PC won't boot up after BIOS save & Reset

I accidentally placed my computer on spilled water without knowing it. later when I turned on my computer there were error messages, and it immediately opened the BIOS screen before I could read it.I panicked and tried exiting BIOS and restarted my computer several times, but it still directed me to the BIOS screen. Trying to exit the BIOS screen again I Accidentally clicked Save & Reset, and after that the computer shut down and I couldn't boot it up again.Can I repair this? are my files lost? This is my first computer and I don't know what to do. Sorry.

Volume Mute Light won´t change color

Which steps did you perform? Was this from a clean boot?
Open administrative command prompt and type or copy and paste this command: shutdown /r /o /f /t 00
It will boot to the recovery options or windows advanced troubleshooting menu.
Click troubleshooting and click reset this computer. You will be saving files. Applications and programs will be removed. Windows will be reinstalled.
Enter your windows logon password.
You will see getting things ready with rotating dots.
Click resetting this PC.
It will then display the HP logo with resetting this PC with rotating dots and a percentage.

 

Bios will not save boot order

Thanks for the input. A quick update, my computer is booting fine. It used to give me the error message associated with the boot manager not being detected.

Oddly, here are the steps that worked...

If I were to go into bios, I won't see my boot drive. If I power off, disconnect and reconnect the SATA cable, and power on, its recognized (quick note, I'm on Intel, and I've connected boot drive to SATA port 1). Then I would boot directly off the drive through bios. Any subsequent boots after that and it loads windows.

Now it seems it doesn't matter. I've been running SimCity all day so far and my PC is mostly stable, except for stupid ATI drivers *Frown I'll be starting a thread there next *Smile

I'll reset CMOS if this keeps happening.

 

My pc won´t boot Windows 10 from USB/DVD

So I wanted to change from my Windows 10 x32 bits to 64x. I downloaded the Mediacreationtool and used it in both a USB and a DVD. Tried used the usb, the disk and both at the same time but they won´t boot.

I have a P7H55-M motherboard, the BIOS is updated and configured to boot first DVD, second usb and third SATA.

So if someone could help me it´d be great.
