    PC won’t boot windows on start after installing additional ram.


    I recently added two additional Corsair DDR5 ram 6000 MHz to my PC. The PC was working perfectly before this. Upon power on the monitor recognizes that the PC was turned on, but no display is put out. On the motherboard, the orange DRAM light is lit up. I can enter bios and get a display by holding the power button 15 or so seconds on turn off, then powering up again. There are no error messages in bios. I can boot windows from bios, and windows is the only thing in the boot priorities. After booting from bios, the PC works perfectly with great performance and zero problems. The DRAM light is

    OS Install stops at "Windows preparing to start"

    Hi

    Trying to install windows from scratch on a computer. Tried with Windows XP and Windows Server 2003. In both instances, it boots from the CD, loads the drivers and just before it starts it sticks on "Windows is preparing to start". I'm at work so can't list a detailed spec now but it's somthing like:

    AMD Athlon 800MHz
    512MB RAM
    80GB HDD
    LG CDROM
    Can't remember graphics card

    Tried swapping the RAM, changing the HDD and pulling out all the additional PCI cards... nothing is working... HELP!

    Windows 10 won´t start any program as Administrator

    Hello. I´m having this issue since installed one of the latest Windows 10 system updates.

    When I try to open any program that requires Administrator confirmation (that screen with the Yes/No question), this dialog won´t appear anymore. The screen background stays darkened and nothing happens.

    1. Using Windows 10 Home (x64)
    2. My microsoft user account is properly checked
    3. I´m the administrator of the PC
    4. Already tried do create another administrator user account - same problem, no success
    5. Cannot start any program/service that requires administrator authorization (not even regedit)
    Please help!

    PC won't start

    Went to start pc and get the beep. One beep, pause and then repeats. Reseated the RAM and it was working last night.
    Ideas, helpful suggestions or cures would be greatly appreciated,
