    I have seen other questions with a similar issue but mine seems a little unique as its intermittent across differing settings i will give as much details as possible.MY RIGRyzen 5 3600ASUS TUF Gaming X570-Plus wifi24GB DDR4 Ram running at 3200Mhz 2x 8GB 2x4GB same vendor and base speedGeforce 1660TIADATA 240GB NVME gen3 system drive with various other HDDPSU Corsair RM750 80+ GoldProblem started with windows 10 pro 64bit but also happening on windows 11 upgrade that i am currently running.MAIN ISSUE.My PC doesn't always start up when i hit the power button from an off state even to bios

    PC shut down, wont turn back on

    The fan twitch is it powering up and then the psu is noteing a short and cutting out hence why it wont do it again straight after until it's reset, something is blown or shorted out so you need to do as someone suggested and split the pc out then, on a table build the minimum up as he said and step by step see what's happening.

    If the reset button is hooked up to the reset pins on the motherboard pin panel, it's going to restart the PC...
    The only way I'm aware of to put a PC to sleep instead, is to set it in the power options to put the PC to sleep when the power button is pressed. I have no experience with your mobo, but I don't see any manuals online stating that you can change the reset button's config.

    Reset Button Not Working

    Well just to be 100% sure I rechecked the connections and its properly connected. Did some testing and found out that it will only reset if I press it twice like: press it once wait like 10 seconds and press again. That way system will reset and boot.
    Also tried to reset right after system boots (before windows loads) and it resets with a single press.
    After windows loads gotta press it twice like I explained.
    Oh and by the way, my motherboard as 2 onboard switches (power and reset) and it does exactly the same if I use the onboard switch.
