Windows 10: Pc wont detect dual monitors at the same time

Yesterday when i booted up my pc it wouldn't recognise my main display, the LG Ultragear 27gp850-b, so i thought my cable might be broken. I put the HDMI cable from my other display, the BenQ GL2460, into my main display. it worked, so I thought it was a cable issue. but when I put the cables back as they were before, with the HDMI in the BenQ and the DisplayPort into the LG, suddenly the LG worked fine but the BenQ didn't detect a signal. So its not a cable issue. I checked, and all my drivers are up to date, so that's no issue either. Device manager shows 2 displays connected.However if i lo

Dual monitor not detected

I am having trouble with my dual monitor being detected after the 08/15 Microsoft security update. I have purchased a new USB to VGA port and still not being detected or connecting. Everything was working fine before the update. Any suggestions? Please
dumb it down as much as possible as I am not tech savvy. Thanks. Have a great day.

I understand that you are unable to use Dual monitors on the computer after updating Radeon software. I’ll certainly assist you with the issue.



However, please let us know:

• Do you see the second monitor detected when you go to Display Settings?
  
• Which build version of Windows 10 is installed on the computer? Refer
  Which version of Windows operating system am I running?
  
• What is the Make and model of the computer?
  

If you do not see the second monitor in Display Settings, I would suggest you to click on Detect and see if the second monitor gets detected.



Since you are facing this issue after updating the Radeon software, you may want to try rolling back the driver and see if that helps.



To do this, refer the steps mentioned below:

1. Press Windows key + X, and select Device Manager.
2. Expand Display adapters.
3. Right click on the Radeon Driver and select Properties.
4. Navigate to the Driver tab and click on Roll Back Driver.
5. Restart the computer if prompted.

Let us know the results. If the issue persists, we will certainly assist you further.

Windows 10 Update - Now my dual monitors do not work

• Which Windows 10 build are you using?
• Have you already tried performing the troubleshooting steps suggested by
  Mauro Cavallin on June 16, 2017?
• Are both of the monitors not working just like what the original poster was experiencing? If yes, have you tried disconnecting one of the monitors? What was the outcome?
• What troubleshooting steps have you done so far?
