    Pc won’t fully turn off


    Hi,


    Whenever i try to switch my pc off the screen goes black but my peripherals and pc fans/ lights are still running


    I have tried the shutdown command and i have tried disabling and enabling fast startup

    Help pc won’t turn on

    Wdym... sorry if I confuse you. I meant that when I turned on the PC, it revved up but it won’t show anything (manufacturer and/or Windows logo) on the screen and wouldnt go to the USB to show the recovery menu, no prompt for BIOS etc. Then it turned off
    itself, and then turned on automatically again and here it goes starting from the beginning again....

    cannot turn off jump list

    Hi Rohit,

    To address this concern, we suggest that you follow these steps on how to turn off the Jump Lists on Windows 10:

    • Go to Start menu, search Settings, then press
      Enter.
    • Click Personalization.
    • Select Start.
    • Turn off the Show recently opened items in Jump Lists on Start or taskbar.

    Pc won’t fully turn off

    Display does not turn off when pc is idle

    Just did all the suggestions. Did not work. Display does not turn off.

    This issue was from the beginning when I downloaded Win 10. I had Win 8.1 and the display always turned off as I set it.

    My pc is HP Pavilion Touchsmart 23 all-in-one. According to "checking for updated drivers on display and monitors", I always get the response that the drivers currently installed are the correct ones.
