Windows 10: PC won't hibernate

    PC won't hibernate


    Greetings everyone,
    Early this month I made some changes to my PC and now it won't hibernate anymore.
    I installed a new video card, moved the boot partition from one of my hard drives (which had Linux on it, by now obsolete to me) onto the SSD that Win10 is on, and replaced that old HDD with another SSD.

    Now I don't know if it was any of these changes that brought about this issue or if it was some Windows update. (Windows 10 Pro 1909)

    Does anyone have any idea?

    my n97 won t charge or connect

    One possible reason why your system keeps hibernating or goes to sleep is because of the power plan settings of your computer. To assist you with your concern regarding your PC hibernating, we recommend that you reconfigure the power plan settings by following
    the steps below:

    • Type Display on Cortana's search field and press
      Enter.
    • Select Power & sleep.
    • Under the Sleep option, click the drop down menu to set the number of minutes/hours you would like your PC to sleep/hibernate. We suggest that you select
      Never if you do not want you system to hibernate.
    • Close all windows for the changes to take effect.

    Let us know if you will need further assistance.
