Windows 10: PC won't let me Download and Reinstall Windows from Cloud, when i try to reset my PC

I wanted to reset my PC using the cloud option because i believed my system files were corrupted. And i heard that cloud was teh best option cause it was the newsest Windows or something. But when i tried to keep my files and choose Download and Reinstall Windows from Cloud i got this Is there any fix? I think it might be linked to my other Windows problem where it wouldn tlet me update my Windows. Which is why i tried to reset it using cloud. I don't really want to use the Local Reinstall option because apparently it uses your system files which is what i believe is corrupted, so the problem

• What is the make and model number of your PC?
  
• What happens when you select cloud download option for reset?
  
• Do you get any error while trying to reset PC using cloud?
  
• Do you use Wi-Fi or wired connection for internet?
  
• Are you aware of any recent changes on the PC prior to this issue?
  

Please provide more information regarding the issue

Meanwhile, I would suggest you to perform a clean installation of Windows on PC, you can refer the section Clean install of Windows 10 using installation media from the article Reinstall Windows 10

Note: Performing a clean installation will remove all the applications/programs. Hence before doing that, please backup your important data at least on an external hard disk

The tutorial states this:

- which indeed you might question, I guess.

I doubt there's any record of the original build installed on your PC- no reason to go backwards first.

That's consistent with

This states the 'cloud' download is from MS servers (rather than from other Win 10 PCs, say).
