PC wont post after BIOS update

After updating my BIOS the pc always gets stuck on the asus logo while booting up. I've tried resetting my BIOS, launching via the correct boot drive, removing all drives, devices, taking out and back in the motherboard battery and removing the gpu, which did enable me to actually use the pc and get into windows and such, but after placing the rest of the devices back in. The same issue started again. Is there a way for me to actually post the PC and have my devices, drives and gpu in it aswell?

    :)

Still can't reproduce. Could you please post the exact BIOSes that produce the issue?

  3. Should I update bios?

I would read the warranty before doing anything. If the manufacturer finds out you did something not on their approved list of steps, for example using a program they didn't list, or a bios, etc, they can treat your video card rma like you threw it against the wall , because if something goes wrong and you didn't follow their steps exactly ,it was damaged through human error and they're not likely going to be obligated to cover it warranty wise. I don't know for sure, I just advocate that you check first , and I also advocate that you verify that it's an actual update ,because very rarely do manufacturers release updates for gpu bios'. And they most certainly wont cover a GPU "update" if its a bios file written by some dude in the Ukraine, it has to be a set process, they have predetermined often.

PC wont boot up (No POST, No Video)

I recently installed a new Asus M5A99X Evo r2.0. The motherboard green LED lights up and the case and cpu fans spin. But there is no video when its hooked up to my monitor.

    Steps that i have tried:
"No POST", "system won't boot", and "no video output" troubleshooting checklist

Made sure all connections are properly connected.

    Flashing the CMOS

    Tested the PSU

Followed all steps in the user manual

If there are any links that you guys can point me to or suggestions that could help it would be highly appreciated. Thank you
