Windows 10: PC won't start after update

Hi


My PC did an automatic update yesterday and now I can't get it to start. I keep getting the message "Startup repair couldn't repair your PC" Log file C:\WINDOWS\System32\Logfiles\SrtSrtTrail.txt


I have tried a few of the advanced options - Startup repair, Uninstall updates it says "we ran into a problem and won't be able to uninstall. I've tried starting in safe mode, but nothing works.

My PC won't turn on after update

I installed some updates while I stepped away from my PC. When I came back I found it like in a hibernation state and irresponsive. I tried disconnecting the power cable and restarted it but nothing. I even tried to put in the installation disc but there's no power to open the tray. I do see an led light, telling me that power is coming in but not enough to boot. Do you have any suggestions. Thanks in advance!

It is possible that you're desktop won't start after the update due to corrupted system files. To assist you better, we'd like to know the troubleshooting steps you've done so far.

Start bar and Alt+Tab stop working after PC is on after awhile

After running Win10 without any major issues since its' release about a week ago I started encountering an apparently pretty common issue with the start bar not working. Along with the start bar not being accessible, when I try to use alt+tab, it also does
not work. When I first logon to my PC it works fine but after awhile the issue appears. I've read through the various publications online detailing the steps of:

• Running /sfc scannow
• Re-installing windows apps
• Repairing windows update
• Lastly, I have reset my PC (while keeping my files)

After going through all of the above, the issue still appears..

My next step is to create another account and use that, before I do that, does anyone else have any other suggestions for this issue?
