Windows 10: pc worked last night. Dd windows update. Today my puter & mouse froze up Then hard...

Cant get to safe mode or anything.. pc boots up but after i start using my mouse to try to do system restore or anything it suddenly freezes up. Everytime it freezes up on me i have to do a hard restart. Try to go into system to clean up and it freezes up. What can i do? Ive tried all i can. It wont stay on long enough to do anything. When it freezes up i let it stay that way on screen and nothing ever changes. HELP

F.lux and night do not work any longer

We understand the inconvenience caused to you, as you are unable to use F.lux app and night light feature on your PC.

We would like to inform you that, we are aware of the Night Light issue and working on it to resolve it as soon as possible.

However, we have a workaround for this, and the workaround is to restart the PC. I would also suggest you to keep your PC updated by using Windows Update to make sure you receive all the latest updates and fixes.

In regards to F.lux app not working, we would suggest you to perform the steps mentioned below.

1. Press Windows +I key from the keyboard to open
   Settings.
   
2. Click on Apps, Select Apps & feature from the left pane.
   
3. Search for F.lex app in the list and click on it, then select
   Advanced options.
   
4. Then click on Reset and then restart the PC and check if the issue persist.

Designer Mouse Not Working

We understand that your Microsoft designer mouse is working on other devices but not on your Windows 10 PC. This can be an issue with an outdated mouse driver. As an initial troubleshooting step, we suggest that you update the device driver. Here's how:

• Click the Start button, type "device manager" in the search box, and then select Device Manager.
• In the list of hardware categories, find the device that you want to update, and then double-click the device name.
• Click the Driver tab, click Update Driver, and then follow the instructions.

Wired Keyboard and Mouse Stop Working - Windows 10
I have an old Dell Studio that is running windows 10 ---

Ir has Windows 10 and SSD installed - to me it does what it needs to do but this darn mouse and keyboard stuff stopping working with no rhyme or reason is making me very frustrated.

Keyboard and Mouse are wired - NOT WIRELESS

• I cannot easily unplug and plug in the mouse/keyboard to get it going again... they are still lit up but they are dead basically and I have to do a hard reset.
  
• USB selective suspend is disabled.
• I checked the drivers for the keyboard and mouse and they are updated.
• I checked to see if PC has KB4074588 and it does not.

I am not sure what else to do.... I can go days without the issue and then days where anytime I step away from the PC it stops working.

I can say when it is working it just does not just stop ... only when I walk away and the machine is idle or the screen is locked.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
