Windows 10: pci root complex

I did a wrong thing and deleted the pci root complex from inside Device Manager instead of updating it and now all I want to turn on the device is neither the mouse nor the keyboard works, and I connected an additional keyboard and it didn't work either. The problem was the Nvidia graphics processor, it is not detected in the system, only the Intel processor, and I want to switch between them, and it caused a greater problem than before. I need your help, please. - Now the problem is that my device does not respond to a mouse or a keyboard.

After I downloaded the "PCI Express Root Complex" update, my computer really got screwed up. Is it really necessary to update this?

1. What is the make and model of the mouse?

2. Have you tried with different USB ports?

Let us try the following methods:



PCI Express Root Complex issue:

Method 1: It is a component of the motherboard; update the chipset drivers from the manufacturer’s website and see if that helps.



USB mouse issue:



Method 2: Windows has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with Hardware and Devices. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with your Devices.

Refer these steps:

1. Press Windows key +X, select Control panel

2. Change the view by option on the top right to Large icons

3. Click on troubleshooting and click on the view all option on the left panel

4. Run the Hardware and Devices



Method 3: Try with different USB ports, and see if that helps.



Method 4: Update the mouse drivers, and see if that helps.

Follow the steps below to update drivers.

1. Press Windows key + X and click on Device Manager.

2. Expand Keyboards, Mice and other pointing devices.

3. Right click on the driver and select Update Driver Software.

PCI Root Complex uninstalled

I can now access everything on the PC as I have borrowed an old keyboard and mouse from work. It is definitely an issue with the pci root complex and I need help on how to fix that please
