Hi everyone,I've installed fresh windows 10, latest updates on my new DAW Asrock z790, i5, 64gbRAM etc... and I have pcie firewire 800 card that is "must have" for my RME Fireface 800... Everything works fine, but in 5min, PC frizzes and BSOD with qr pops out. Here is link for dump files: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1woBlp9vKzVFw9Nw1ACoMEcqYMqeedjj1/view?usp=sharingP.S. all drivers, and BIOS firmware are up to date.Thank you in advance!BR

Windows update: one PCIe slot and one GPU kaput

Memtest86 is good, but no RAM tester can detect all possible RAM failures. I would suggest that you adopt a slow and careful step-by-step approach to troubleshooting this clear hardware issue. I would suggest that you strip the PC to the bare minimum. Unplug all external devices except monitor, mouse, and keyboard. You've already removed the GPU, so remove all but one RAM stick (and try other RAM sticks too). Remove unnecessary PCIe cards (extra USB ports cards, WiFi cards, for example). If it fails in as stripped-down version as you can achieve then I'd look at the PSU, and then the motherboard. This isn't a software issue though.

    MBO suggestion_cpu integrated graphics

Need some advice about mbo selection, like is there a way to use i5 3470 graphics together with h77 mbo's as "second" video output resource .. so, when I'm on 2d enviroment i5 graphics enables, and when on 3d existing gtx560 enables? .. I do read about virtu mpv, but I'm not sure about motherboard support .. ga-h77-d3h would be enough? or z77 is better choice even not all z77 are virtu mpv supported .. suggestions?

    thanks!

Using a PCIe x1 card in a PCIe x16 slot: Here is something I recently found out. I have tired this and it works. You can use a PCIe x1 card, or a PCIe x4 card in a PCIe x16 slot. They work fine. So if you think you are short of PCI-e slots, you may not be. A shorter PCIe card works fine in a longer slot. On...
