Windows 10: PCs Stuck on Restarting

Since we ran the October 2021 Microsoft patches, we have had issues with many of our firm computers freezing up on reboot on the blue restarting screen. This happens when we install patches or just perform a simple reboot in some cases and the only remedy is to hard power the computers off and on. This is happening to pcs running windows 10 professional 20H2. Most of them are dell optiplexes but some are lenovo so doesnt seem particular to the pc itself. Please let me know how I can resolve this.Thanks.Jed

Pc stucks at restarting.

Method 1:

I suggest you to perform the Startup Repair and check.

Follow the below steps:

• Click on the Start button and click on the Settings option.
• Select Update & security > Recovery.
• Go to Advanced startup and select Restart now.
• After your PC restarts to the Choose an option screen, select
  Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup Repair.

If the issue persists then follow the below method.

Method 2:

I would recommend suggest you to enable the fast startup.

Follow the below steps:

• Right click on the Start icon and select Power Options.
• Click on the Choose what power buttons do on the left navigation pane.
• Click on Change settings that are currently unavailable (Enter the admin credentials if prompted).
• Check the Turn on Fast startup (Recommended) box.
• Click on Save changes.
• Restart the computer.

PC stuck in restart loop after latest update

Thank you kindly for your reply zbook. After following steps 6-8 I got this screen. What should I do now?

 

MY PC has just statred to restart even during Boot and after boot, Please help.
